I voted Lakers in 6 but I want Philly to win, but Iverson isnt going to be able to do that everynight.

I\'ve seen Iverson do that not even the mighty Michael Jordan has done, this guy is amazing....last three games he\'s scored 40 or more points...

I\'m glad someone else started this thread because I was too frustrated with the playoffs up to this point to do it myself.

I HATE THE LAKERS.   When you grow up in Phoenix, and you\'re a Suns fan all your life, you don\'t feel two ways about the FAKERS.  Last night\'s game brought me more basketball viewing joy than I have had in a LONG LONG time.  Watching Iverson use up Derek Fisher and Kobe Bryant, and then put Tyronn Lue on his ass while hitting that 3-pointer in overtime is just pure bliss.

Every so-called Laker fan should be pissing their pants right now with one realization:  The Sixers are not planning to avoid a sweep, they\'re not planning to win a couple games, they are planning to win a championship.  I\'m not even a Sixer fan, and I can see that clearly.  The Lakers are bored and complacent right now.  The 76ers simply want it more, and that\'s ALWAYS what it takes to win a championship.  It\'s a good time hate the Lakers.

Sixers in Six (nice ring to it, eh?)

By the way, this assumes David Stern will let them win a championship.

It appears that Philadelphia\'s fans are more dedicated than Laker fans.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, NBC\'s wednesday night broadcast of game one of the NBA finals yielded the best ratings for a finals series game one since 1998.  That\'s an increase of 21% from last year.

In the Philadelphia market, the broadcast rated 41.0/60, while in Los Angeles it only achieved 32.9/51.  I think the first number is rating among adults 18-49, and the second number is market share.  Sorry I can\'t go into more detail, but basically bigger is better.  Videoholic could probably tell you all about it.
