crazy, I read a part saying the physics capture is at 120 fps meaning there is two motion per frame, meaning there won\'t be any slowdown whatsoever!!!!  How did they do it?  The first game I ever heard of 120fps...it\'s simply awesome!
playstation 2 rules.  Nintendo Starcube Dolphin drools.  Hehehahahheheheh...

120 fps is overkill...imagine how much they could improve the graphics if they just lowered that to an acceptable 60fps...seeing as a TV cant display over 60fps

then again, i see your point, its to ensure no slowdown...but if they made the game engine properly there wouldnt be slowdown anyway

[edit]hehe, just read it...and...realised i mis-read what know it all wannabe said...dagnammit[/edit]

anyhoo, really great read...still dont know if ill get it...its most likely one of my highest anticipated racing games

well, it\'s no secret that this is the game I\'m absolutely dying for, but DAMN, this just made the whole ordeal so much worse. This really is shaping up as the ultimate.... damn

26 weapons in all, that\'s so cool, and it\'s good to see they\'re still intuitive, like that Nitro Rocket, that\'s incredibly cool

I really cannot wait

I have been dying for this game to come out ever since it was announced.  Does anyone know the US release date?

How many times in second the physics are calculated has nothing to do with the framerates of graphics.

Things like graphics and gameplay mechanics and physics should not be mixed in programming. the reason why programmers make physic calculations 120 times "or more like in some pinball games on amiga" is that it is easier to do proper collision and energytransfer calculations when state of object has not changed much from last frame.

"With additional calculations there will be less "flying though wall" kind o thingies."

thanx ddaryl :)

Peltopukki, i agree with you and by the way a TV cannot show more than 60fps and not to mention thsoe PAL 50hz people.

it will be a great game anyway

And one other thing is that this game once again sounds like it\'s all about class. Like we\'ve all said, the LOOK of the previous 3 games has been awesome, beautiful design and just all round classy presentation. Another thing I\'ve always liked is the names... for tracks and crafts, they\'ve always been cool. Well it looks like this game is back on track with that, those new craft names sound awesome

Van-Uber- WHAT a name that one is, Auricom has always been my personal fave, but there\'s no way I\'ll be able to ignore that one, just because of the name. Uber. That\'s so sweet
Xios-Sounds cool and futuristic. Just what the series is all about, I like this one, i hope it\'s one of the better craft, and not a dingy little thing like the Feisar and Goteki\'s (though Goteki is not in fusion)
Tigron- This one didn\'t appeal that much until the guy said this "heavy by maneuverable ship, built for ramming". BUILT FOR RAMMING!!!! Now THAT is cool
EG-R- Not as cool as the rest but nontheless cool :D
G-Tech- Another really cool futuristic sounding name, very sweet.

Can\'t wait
