Aliens is my all time fav. film...and Alien and Alien 3 are, i believe both really excellent films (although Alien three isnt too popular.  It still counts as a trilogy because the forth just sucked so bad

Godfather parts 1 and 2 are two of my fav. movies, and the third was a bit of a let down

Star Wars episode 4, 5 , 6 are another three of my fav. movies also.

so what do you think?  or have you got another suggestion?

well I had to choose star wars... perhaps the reason is I\'ve never seen any of the other movies...

but I still think I\'d choose Star Wars anyway. I just remember watching them a bunch of times when I was little, and all the way growing up i watched them a bit. When you have movies or games for that matter which are like that, you always tend to geta  bit nostalgic and like them more. I just can\'t get enough of Star Wars.

Falcon, I\'m right here - and I agree :)

But I voted for Star Wars as Lord of the Rings isn\'t an option here. Shame on you bob ;) You should\'ve called this the best \'movie-trilogy\' poll.

Star Wars is it\'s own universe, that\'s why I love it. No earth - and the universe really works on SW. Lucas has created everything - from religion ( Force ) to star-systems, and the universe is truly DEEP... you can sink into it if you want.

And the plot of the old trilogy, as a whole, is something truly wonderful. I didn\'t like the first episode ( the newest Star Wars movie ) much, but I\'m hoping that Lucas can save the old SW magic in the next two episodes to come.

But LotR is the SW of literature, and more.

yeah, i left out a lot of things like Back to the Future, Evil Dead etc. etc.  The bobs boobies is pretty much meant to be the alternative if you dont agree with the three options i had
