althought the game looks good there\'s something about the look that makes the game feel or seem plain

I know it early but texture work and details in mechs and the sterile look of the enviroment fails to suck me in and make me say wow

but like I said its early

The models look like plastic toys.

the graphic looks amazing.  Definately a 2nd generation graphic.  Although the picture seems cartoonish as if the programmer meant it to be that way.  Gears seem small too compare to Xenogears.

Not bad looking, not a knock-out either, i figure it might
be another good not great title. I hope it\'s longer then 30 hours though.

well see i could care less about the graphical aspect of this game and if anyone else has played Xenogears - you should feel the same way

as it was the story of Xenogears that made it great not the graphics

holy crap...am i the only one that thinks those graphics are super impressive?  plus the game has a long way to go.  And the storyline is what made the original, not graphics.  I think these graphics are petty faithful to the original (not that i ever played it, damn square didnt release it in Australia).

those graphics are fantastic (as far as you can tell from pictures).  I suppose the textures need a bit of work.

To me they look like they were taken directly from an anime movie.... But what do I know...

look at that picture!..... Why would they make Japanese Text for the japanese to read but put english in the corner? I mean can Japanese read that?

hmm...id say the fact that they dont want to change it for each version of the game would mean they put it in whatever language is needed the most is used.  Hence, why English is used, as more people who understand it that language will read it than japanese.  why make the texture twice or more times    makes developement easier  
or at least that my take on it

I\'m not a bit surprise the game doesn\'t look impressive to you, becuz you don\'t like the Playstation 2 anyways.

I like the XBox and plan to get one in April or May of 2002, but I don\'t go complaining about every game the PS2 has.
