They are prerendered backgrounds.. but they are starting to move into the full 3d world... i read the site.. it says something about how the animation or something like that will make these prerendered backgrounds look 3d.(RDX from IGNPS2 boards)

The backgrounds are slowly moving to the 3d part, and yes the PS2 does have this kind of power XBox fanboys.  You can\'t believe can\'t you.

I agree ps2 isn\'t near being maxed out yet.   I will get both dmc and onimusha 2 cause both games are going to be sweet.

The girl with the knife does die, but it is an a battle years after so I\'m sure if it is the same girl( I forget her name) they could easily rework the story to fit her in.

The game looks awesome. All Capcom needs to do is make it alot longer (how about a full DVD disc,eh? ;) ) and harder. The first was way to short and easy.
