actually they said that they were gonna try hard to make it look as good as the arcade version

so i doubt there will be any improvement over it

The developer said that he was horny (couldnt think of the correct word, sorry!) to unlock PS2s true potential with VF4

erm not to sound too critical but arent there some jaggies in those pics? i mean look at the railings and the tiles? maybe its cos still early in developmetn but they dont look too sharpish...

Yea Trongo is rite I think. In the 1st few pictures there is  a couple of bad spots. Like look at the floor and the green spirally (SP?) things and teh mountains... anyone sle notice this? I\'m not bashing just noticing things that are noticable lol.

looks nice.  The graphic looks like a blend of TTT and DOA2 graphic to me for some reasons.  Funny How SEGA didn\'t implement AA for the arcade version, anyway, it very little noticeable and because VGA monitor have the best video display, we can see the jaggies.  The arcade monitor might not be noticeable for two reasons: fast motion and picture render to hit the arcade screen.

I wish my tv is progressive type like most arcades are.

Rasputin, i dont see your point.  We all know that hardware will come along that is better than the PS2...but you seem to have missed the fact that Yu Suzuki wants to unlock the secrets of the PS2...with GC and XB the power is basically much easier to access...therefore the need to unlock the secrets is relinquished.  Aparrantly nobody knows what the PS2 is fully capable of, and you dont seam to be in a position to come in and wrongfully critize someone elses comments.

Screenshots will always show jaggies for the most part because of the way that aliasing works. It uses every other frame to blend the jagged edges. Please correct me if i am wrong. Maybe some developers use screenshots that have an exposure of 2 frames ? hehe silly

I am almost a 100% sure you will not see the jaggies when the game is in motion, so don\'t worry about it.
