The WRC 2001 footage on the OPSM2 mag (UK) has me pumped

I\'m really looking forward to this game and in a funny way, i\'m glad that there now releasing it in November.
This will give them time to get everything how they\'d like. The video footage is not of the game but i believe
that it\'s the intro. It uses the same theme tune from Eurosport\'s coverage, also the video footage is edited from
bits of Eurosports coverage of the 2001 WRC. This means that the game will have that sort of Eurosport
presentation to it of which i like . Man, i\'m well looking forward to this game. in the PSM2 mag one of the writers
stated how hard it was - this obviously means that there will be proper simulation handling within this game.

(I usually watch Rally and Gran Turismo type races on ES)

I hope WRC supports the GT3 racing wheel..

WRC\'s level of detail is astonishing, and is sure to be one of the best, if not THE best rally game out there.

But I hate it when the magazines give intro footage, and not in-game.  It\'s just a con in trying to entice you to buy the mag.

BTW, does anyone know where there is footage of this game on the \'net?

If you watch some bits of the video StAnZo,i think you will find that they are in game graphics,because that is what it looked like to me when i watched it.

nah Ethan, this looks to be all real footage from the 2000 & 2001 WRC. Iv\'e seen about 3 minutes of ingame
footage and IMHO there is no ingame footage in the clip from OPSM2.
if you have a friend that has sky digital then watch \'Game Clip\' on channel 223 there you will see ingame footage
of WRC 2001. It looks amazing!

I swear StAnZo look right near the end,i swear there are very short clips of the game in there,i am going to go and have alook now,if i see anything i will post back tomorrow morning,ok see ya in a while!

I saw a bit of WRC on Game Clip, it looks damn good, but i havn\'t seen the clip on that dvd yet, i\'ll pick up my copy on friday.

That gameclip channel is crap! Its so repetitive and most of the time there is some weird foreign freak on. HELLO - SUBTITLES?

If it runs at 60fps count me in!

Oh BTW RaCeR, its a locked 60FPS and it looks fantastic!
The cars on the start bite into the ground once the throttle has been applied and the rear end digs down just like
in a proper WRC. the graphics are very good, from the atmosphere of fogging (intended fogging may i add)
and the haze of the sun, it all looks amazing. The wheels have proper calipers, springs and all the normalitys
of a WRC. All of these work independant so tuning should be studdied to get the best out of your car. Also
the replays look excelent, this imho makes the GT3 rally sections look like sh@t, but that\'s just my opinion.
Simply put, this looks like the definative WRC simulation PERIOD!

Why dont you guys tape it and then watch it in slow motion. THen you will be able to tell if it\'s ingame or not

Ethan, i checked again and there is no footage from the game and i stand by that 100%. It\'s a great testament to
the graphics of the game if you misplaced the real footage for ingame footge. it\'s going to be an awesome game
