yes ddaryl has a good point, water isnt blue, it just appears that way sometimes, i think thats why we are getting such realistic water these days is because developers have realized that now and are making water super realistic.

The water looks good, but from the movies I\'ve seen (granted they are quite old) the water doesn\'t ripple alot when these one man water boat thingies travel,it bugged me a little....not to mention that fact that there are no reflections what so ever :(

Otherwise looks good. But I\'ll have to give the Nintendo game thumbs up over this game,at this stage.

Hmm.. Something looks really odd in these screens..
Whats the white stuff on the water (second screen)
and why is the water black and white? (first screen)

Overall the water looks really nice! :)

adding to what ddayrl said, well have u ridden a PWC?

cuz fromt hese shots, it looks quite good. i was impressed with ATV offroad fury, and i bet they will do a good job with this one.  again, the water is what the programmers have been working so hard to do, thats why the character models suck. all can be changed.
IM BACK. you have a problem with that? get in the back.

no-one

there are no recent movies of the game out there that I know of yet so the latest effects weren\'t implemented in the movies out there

but the physics of the water the way the boat reacts in the water is unmatched IMO.

Actually, if you watch those movies that are on ps2.ign.com, you\'ll see that the water effects are in.  The water reacts to everything the boat does, and vice versa, in the videos.

NAw, the wakes from the boat are clearly missing and the video looks just like the original trailer that was shown a ways back

the physics are implemented but I\'m sure they\'ve improved

When the boat spins around in the first video you can see the wake from it.

Yesterday I saw new videos on TV (GIGA GAMES). This videos were from the Splashdown event in France. There was a track in a stadium where you have to jump from one stage to another stage, which is higher. So you go higher and higher. It was very interesting. The only bad thing was the fog.
