Escape From Monkey Island gets a good review from IGN.

Its about time Graphical Adventures start to make a come back.
Hopefully this does so well that seirra and Lucas arts will port more GAs to the PS2.

In celebration of that game coming out for PS2 I re-installed the ORIGINAL Escape from Monkey Island on my comp.  (It was part of the LucasArts Classic Adventures package.)  Oh it\'s so much fun!  I still can\'t get over the Pirate-word-fighting and the giant cotton swab in the giant monkey ear!  And what about that fortune teller?  They should re-make the original and put in M. Cleo!!!!

Wow, I don\'t even remeber any of them!  I think I\'ll brush up on my Pirate insults and slam a few more up here.

Yeah, I just hope that the game engine runs a bit better on the PS2 than the first Monkey Island did on the SegaCD. (I just bought it a few days ago, despite having the PC version already. I love adventures, but ughh.. big mistake. Oh well.. it was only 10 bucks for MI1, Adventures of Willy Beamish, and Rise of the Dragon.. again.. all of which I already own, but what can I say.. I\'m a whore. )
