Well - I\'m positively amazed. I had heard of the rumours of the \'too dark screen\' etc., but the screen is far better than GBC\'s. And I have lights around my house, so it\'s not a problem.

I am planning to buy Tony Hawk\'s Pro Skater 2 and Rayman Advance next week ( perhaps ).

Mario Advance is what I was hoping for - Super Mario Bros. 2. As I had missed the opportunity to play the game when I was younger, this was the right time and right place to do it. I bought the game, and now I\'m in love with Mario again :)

F-Zero was another game I had missed during my Snes-times, and I wanted to try it badly - and I was positively stunned about the game\'s speed and furious gameplay. Yes, this racer doesn\'t need weapons to get hectic. I love it also.

But still, there\'s those two games I\'ve been waiting for SO long.. Rayman and Tony Hawk 2... They\'re the graphical blow-outs, so I heard.

Well, I\'m too tired to write in-depth reviews - and I think RUY\'s Mario Advance review includes it all... oh and .net is full of those reviews...

A couple guys here I work with bought them and yes they are damn cool..

The graphics are amazing...  And the game play is great...  Its just the screen is a bit dark.  But worth it because of its quality..

I\'ll definately be buying one next week.

My only gripe is the game boxes!  Why the hell don\'t Nintendo take a leaf out of the Neo Geo Pocket\'s book, and supply plastic cases, or do you guys in the US have platic cases instead of cardboard crap!!!

Those are the games I got with mine.  I had played Mario before so after I beat it, I kinda stopped playing it, but F-Zero is an all-new game and I\'m just starting to unlock the modes and cars.

My next purchase is going to be Castlevania which everyone whose played it has called the must-have launch title.  I should have it next Friday...

BTW, my advice for everyone with light problems is to buy one of the accesories.  They\'re only ten bucks.  I\'m curious about the Light Shield, but I bought a Worm Light and it works fine.  There\'s a glare, but you can angle the light to put most of the glare off the screen.  Either way, it works, as I play GBA in the dark before I go to bed most of the time...  (Oh, and use headphones, too!)

After Tony Hawk and Rayman, I\'ll perhaps buy Castlevania - or then I\'ll save for Mario Kart Super Circuit.

But the games I\'m truly waiting for are...

-Doom ( no wonder! This will be one must-buy. Portable doom... like my dream would\'ve come true )
-Super Mario World ( must buy - the BEST mario EVER. and I never found all the secrets... )
-Super Mario Bros. 3 ( I love this one )
-Tony Hawk 3
-Super Metroid
-Banjo Kazooie
etc.

The GBA only costs $100.  If you\'re waiting for it to drop even lower, despite no competition and record sales, well let\'s just say you\'ll be waiting for a while.

The GBA rules! No more boring train rides. Yipee.

I only got F-Zero right now, though I originally thought of getting Castlevania, but I couldn\'t find it anywhere.

Joyda, you missed F-Zero when the SNES was out?!? How the heck\'s that possible? Shame on you! I still remember all the circuits and craft available... *nostalgia-mode* It was awesome at the time. I\'ve already won a few Master-level trophies in Maximum Velocity. Tough. Rewarding. Great fun :D

I\'m luvin\' this li\'l pink palm-sized wondermachine... err.. I\'m talking about my GBA, just in case any of you got funny ideas from that.

Keep hoping.

Wal-Mart in America is selling it for $89. Other places are selling it for $100.

As for the price goin\' down, like I said.. Keep hoping. The GBC is just now $70 dollars and its a few years old. Not to mention there is no competion to force Nintendo to do a price drop anytime soon.

Hawke,
I know - I was ashamed - but I had one more reason to buy F-Zero MV :) I still haven\'t even completed the game on expert level.. damn it\'s tough ( but fun, yes ).

Expert is a piece of cake. Just wait till you get to the Master level races. Yowza. Fair play is a term unknown in those races.

Now I desperately need to find the original F-Zero for my SNES... I miss the game so much. Goddamn this place, not even one gamestore within a 150 mile radius. Maybe I could ask some friends if they could sell me the game. Then they\'d just notice how desperate I am and try to rip me off... dang. *sigh*

Now where in the heck is my Castlevania
