I picked this one up today, and...  Holy Shnikies!!

I really think I absolutely love this game.  The atmosphere, graphics and ramped up difficulty make this an incredibly great game.

They captured the feel and fun of TM2 perfectly then added some old favorites with new twists, put soot and charcoal on it and put it in the blender on "frappe".

This game is a must-buy for TM fans, car "enthusiasts" and people that wanna blow stuff up!  :D

I even loved the very beginning when they play that short clip from "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones...AND I HATE THE STONES!!

Hate the Stoned

The Rolling Uglies

The Stones rule man, one of the greatest bands that will ever grace Rock + Roll.

When I heard the 1st dozen notes to painted Black I was instantly overwhelmed with joy, never has there ever been a perfect match of kick ass rock and roll and a Game themed together . I can\'t wait to get to the credits so I can jam the entire song as a reward for beating this bad ass game.

I agree with everything you say. I new the game was going to be good, but my expectations we\'re exceeded a tad, and that a rare thing and a true sign of a AAA title.

You don\'t have to beat the game to view the credits and here the song.  Just go into Movies and watch the credits from there.

Bah!  Where\'s the fun in that?!  Credits should only be viewed by those who deserve to view them (as in the people who finished the game)!

Back on topic.  I LOVE TWISTED METAL: BLACK!  It\'s definitely my favorite game on the system so far.

Agreed.  In fact, this game is the first I\'ve been excited about playing in a while, not counting the MGS2 demo of course.  Musta played the holy hell outta that thing.

And ddaryl, even though I don\'t like the Stones, I kinda do like the song, and its use here and in the credits is awesome.

Hehehe.... When I read JerginsSoft\'s general diss on The Stones, I *KNEW* ddaryl wouldn\'t be far behind with a rebuttal! ;)

As far as viewing the credits for the whole song (and that being only for those that deserve it by having beat the game)...  Eh, I figure, that\'s why the credits are out their in the open for viewing.  Not coded.  Not left as a "hidden level".  Just their to view the talents and notes of thanks to family, etc.  That I get to hear (in this case) the entire song, and see some GREAT extra video feeds that add more to my understanding of the story-line, well, all the better...  I have no shame...and I won\'t *be* shamed.

And you\'re right 182, TM:B is an INCREDIBLE game!

What\'s so good about viewing credits anyway? When I beat a game and all I get is to see the credits, I\'m pissed. The credits are so gay, and half the time they\'re so fast you can\'t even read them

Up till now "Paint it Black" has always reminded me of the movie Full Metal Jacket.  Maybe TM:B will change that.  Actually several of the Stones songs have been linked with the Vietnam war in movies.  The water skiing scene set to "Satisfaction" in Apocalypse: Now is famous.  I think the best one was "Gimmie Shelter" during the Vietnam jargon sequence in Dear America: Letters Home from Vietnam.

Well, ever since I started playing it, I can\'t get that friggin song outta my head!  I\'m also glad they didn\'t get some no-name band to do a cover of it either.  They got the rights to the original song.

BTW- Anyone else\'s hand killing \'em from playing this game?  I feel like I\'ve done about 20 years worth of stress damage to the tendons in my hand in the past two days!

Is Damage Inc. or Battery on it?
It seems like those songs would fit this game like a glove.
