Personal pet-peeve. FF XII willlll not be playable online. But it will have online functions. (email, search, music, tips, guides)

I will use my PS2 for everything I currently use my computer for (e-mail, browsing), so that rocks.

The only thing I\'ll still use my computer for is Word (review writing).

Sounds good to me:)

wont the lag for non bandwith players have horrible lag? computers with more ram still have lots of problems on 56k lines

Although online play isn\'t something I\'m eagerly awaiting, I\'ll be glad to support it when it arrives.  Until then I\'ll be happy with offline gaming.

And the lag will not be more then the dreamcast games. You not sending everything, just small amounts of data.

I\'ve already started supporting the online play.  I have Armored Core 2: Another Age.  I plan to get the broadband adaptor since I use a cable modem already.  I\'m looking forward to playing you guys online in some Navy Seals:SOCOM and other games.

Don\'t worry about me shooting your guys in the back from time to time.  I\'ve just got a twitchy trigger finger.  Honest!  :)

You mean the FF\'s will remain offline?  There is a go..., no there still isn\'t a god but this rocks.


And to answer the question all you need is a hub.  Buy a hub from anywhere and plug the modem into the hub, then plug the hub into your computer and PS2.

I most definitely plan on supporting online PS2!  Especially if they let me keep my ISP!

I have a cable modem, and it is most refreshing to hear that they will let you stay with one ISP.  Or at least, those are the plans for now, I hope!
