and i have my TV connnected to a suround sound system but when i play a movie or my playstation2 with it , makes a sound like i busted my speaker you know ? but when i just play my cd or radio from the system and that it does not pass from the tv to the system , i have no problems .. you guys think i need better cables for my connection ?
yea jp6666, the cables that the PS2 comes with "composite cables" are the lowest of the low besides and rfu adaptor, switching from composite to an s-video cable it like night to day, there is a huge difference in picture quality, color, and sound. I have my PS2 hooked up with Gamelink 300 Monster S-video Cables only because im a hardcore PS2 gamer and I want to suck out all the juice my PS2 kicks. Monster S-video cables cost a pretty penny though unless you go to best buy and get ones that are already opened package then they\'ll give you 10 bucks off, they cost about 40 bucks, I paid about 30. i recommend you buy the monster s-video cables cause they give you the best of everything you\'r looking for in picture and sound quality, if you dont have the money then just buy some interact generic s-video cables, they work fine also and cost about 15-20 bucks. I wouldnt recommend getting the component cables because they are more expensive than S-video and the it very little difference between s-video and component, but i heard this depends on the T.V
as for your stereo problem i have no clues, but what happens when i play cd\'s on my PS2 it sounds like the voices are echos and its pretty trippy, is thta what your talking about?
