PS2 DVD Issues

Can\'t find an answer to this problem anywhere.  Does anyone have issues with their PS2DVD player going seriously out of synch with the sound after about 45 mins of playing?

Myself and a friend have the same problem on diffeent machines bought from different places.

If anyone has any advice that\'d be great - maybe a fix for it??

Mine does this on certain movies. Storm of the Century is the one where it is most noticeable.  It doesn\'t even play the sound for HellRaiser 2: Hellbound on my PS2 or my friends.

I have tried during on diagnostics to fix the problem and that has never worked. The problem remains.

If anyone has a fix, I would be interested in hearing it also. I personally figured it was just another DVD playback problem that so many people have been having with the PS2.

The only problem with mine is that it doesn\'t read my Halloween 2 DVD.

You can try a DVD lens-laser cleaner or if the sound goes out of sync, just pause and resume play of the DVD.  Otherwise you\'ll have to dial the dreaded 1-800
