Ah Stanzo, I share your enthusiasm regarding this game.  It looks so good, and these screens can only reinforce our opinion, and I thank you for your time in posting these.

It\'s a pity the link never showed us sublime footage of the game, but our time will come my friend.  Our time will come.....

Environments have been created with for basis of photos and photos satellites. The visible horizon is so distant that the player will never see a clipper. Of of the team one should have in the past right to a product extremely realist. Left foreseen at the fall 2001. First impressions of Michel Sonies and Evolution Studios showed an all first playable version. Graphics are retailed gorgeously with zero clipping. The graphic wealth meets in the least detail. Thus, you will be able to perceive that the car gets dirty to the proportion to measure of the special and this according to the coating that you will have to browse. The different views immerse you completely especially in the game all the view c0ckpit where you will notice that all is enlivened (pilot, co - pilot) and that the interior differ according to the car. Side piloting and sensations, I confess that the version was little again convincing. He/it is true (to have discussed some with the team\'s members) that developers don\'t have all implémenté again and didn\'t adjust the jouabilité again. However one feels that this title heads more distinctly for the simulation with behaviors of cars of most believable. If one cannot take the liberty to give a definitive opinion at the sight of the shown version, I am able without getting wet too much to affirm that Sony holds there another hit in power for the same reason as their F1 saga and their GT3. Aficionadoses of piloting are going to adore the PS2 if it continues.

Indeed, the graphical detail in this game shall be exceptional, and the whole prooject is beginning to bloom.

Hype, of course, but exciting nonetheless, when MD of Evolution Studios, Martin Kenwright says:

"Instead of creating a glass tubeway, let\'s create the Swiss Alps.  Instead of bouncing off the rock and coming back onto the track, let\'s fly over that rock and fall several thousand feet.  Instead of crashing into a wall and have a spark and a broken window, let\'s physically tear the car in half or deform it".

Hmmm.... the 4th pic really shows the graphical
improvement imo, because you can see how the
3D bushes/trees have grown in density.
Also every time I see new pics of this game it seems
that they have put a real sun with real sunlight in this
game. Amazing!

Lucky me... I just taped a bit from Game Network (Sky Digital Channel 223) and they spoke to the developers
at E3. There were loads of footage from the game and it looked amazing. Especialy when a Subaru WRC Juped
over the camera which was positioned under a crest. It just took me away..
The developers had been asked "What games have you looked at for reference" And he replied "We havn\'t looked
at any games with this production, we simply based it on television footage." I\'m off to the bathroom...

Hey Stanzo, when is this game in shops?

Also talking about devs : The Reflection team who are
working on Stuntman, which look very amazing as well,
have said PS2 is a ***** to work on. Have the WRC devs
said someting like that ?

Not to my knowledge. They did say that they are allready working on the next version and that it will be
released next year. They stated that the game will look better each year so i suppose there might be 3 or 4
following WRC games in the planning stage. Looks good for us WRC fans :0)
The developers said "it should be in the shops by the end of september - give or take a couple of weeks."
bear in mind that that release is for all of the pal teritorys

This Rally game is shaping up with more detail.  Look at that broken glass!   I\'m getting it!

Sorry to allmost put you in hospital man, apparently it was playable but IGN seem to have overlooked the
high demand for a video clip of this game.. Mind you.. GT3 should hold us over eh?

Yes.. GT3 will cool me down until its time for WRC2001

Im getting the new issue of OPS2M uk when it arrives in the shops..

It seems IGN overlooked alot of games at E3

I think I have been converted... I thought this game would be crap... Looks like I was pleasently WRONG!!!
