tapping PS2\'s full power means working with the "Metal", time-consuming, expensive, pain in the a$$. How many Developers are gonna spend 8M to create a great looking game?
They won\'t,
they will play with their CodeWarrior 2.5 IDE and tap the main CPU, while the vector units sit on their asses,...
IMO I think SONY will release a library that will tap the PS2 power more easily, although it too won\'t tap 100% of the PS2\'s power, it should ease development for some developers.
