Sony Europe lands new 1st party developer

Sony Europe Lands Dogfish [ posted by Harry ]
Guilford-based Dogfish Entertainment, a development team made up from ex-Bullfrog staffers, has been signed up by Sony Europe as a first-party developer. The team has an impressive CV including such titles Syndicate Wars, Dungeon Keeper 2 and older titles such as Amiga Wing Commander and C64 Gladiators. Dogfish\'s first PlayStation 2 title will be released in 2002 but the developer is remaining tight lipped about the game.

Yet another AAA game to through in the big AAA bag?

Yeah the bag which everytime we take a game out it doesn\'t turn out triple A.

Dark Cloud
Red Faction
Extermination
The Bouncer
Zone of Enders

Etc all were hyped on this board, all to be triple A and none of them was successful. Im not saying that they are bad games, just not triple A material.

Im going to wait and see.

I wouldnt call them AAA,but i wouldnt say they wernt successful, i mean i think The Bouncer didnt sell too bad in japan.
