my god...sooo many problems.

first off we (mother and I) moved to this little hick town so my mom could save money cause we were paying 1800$ in rent and if u pay that much you might as well be owning it.

So we get to this *village* and of course theres no high speed anything...net, people, cars, grass...anything.

So I go out and register with earthlink only to remember that when I built this PC I told them to leave out the 56k modem cause I never figured i\'d be in an area where it was needed. Big mistake.

My friend gives me a 56k modem and I try to install it but it don\'t fit the motherboard.

So 2 weeks later and 200$ later (I was in a hurry)I buy a US robotics external serial modem and install that...only to find the Earthlink disc don\'t work...

5 more goddamn days later I get Elink and here I am.

On the plus i\'m moving again in a month to an area with high speed so thats something to look forward too

And please...any of you feel free to fill me in on any major gaming info over the past month.

Espeacially tha major titles such as
Silent Hill 2
Metal Gear Solid 2
Devil May Cry etc etc...

its good to be back indeed

well i am getting broadband with my new PC and i am planning on getting it with @home

finally the days of 56k are gone for me - or will be soon enough
