Criterion PS2 racer.. Never heard of this one..

I saw this in PSM2 #11.. (All EU gamers must get that mag.. THey have a E3 special!)

Today we bring you another CVG exclusive as Criterion Studios allowed us to peek into the busy development cycle of their superb racer, "SRC".

Take a look at these awesome shots taken from their concept AVI, which is truly amazing. Criterion maintain that they can bring a look to the final game matching the quality of these renders, and from what we\'ve seen they are more than capable of this claim - the game is stunning.
Running at 60 frames per second the game looks far better than at the E3 showing, the textures are far better and the handling has been refined, bringing a degree of smoothness that was missing from the original handling model, itself no letdown as it felt better than many released titles even back then.

We still do not know what the name means, as designer Chris Roberts gave a wry smile and refused to tell us, so we can only guess. This is a hot one, watch this space for more details, we\'ll bring you more news as we get it hot from ECTS.

in that case it could be a very nice looking game indeed.

wow, thats some exciting info, the screens look great.

If I look at the screens of Criterion\'s second PS2-game (Airblade), I think they could create a game that doesn\'t look a lot worse than those renders!

Nice screens!  I believe that the PS2 could pull in game screens like that.

Well I ve never seen a game that maintains this quality of blurr effects.

What?I havent noticed that there are blur effects in GT3.I have some GT3 movies downloaded in my computer but none of them shows blurr effects.
