PS2 Haiku
« on: July 06, 2001, 08:10:33 AM »
Let\'s share our appreciation for SONY in the form of Haiku!

Hai.ku (noun): an unrhymed verse of three lines containing 5, 7, 5 syllables, respectively.

the disk spins gently
graphics flash across my screen
pleasure surrounds me

This sounds pretty silly to me ! :nut:
Of coures I give credit where credit belongs,
but this sounds like adoring a company ( a COMPANY for
G\'s sake !!! ) a bit too much.
First I wanna see Sony cut the PS2 price in half, so more
ppl can afford it. Maybe more important is that Sony should do something to please gamedevelopers a lot
more in the form of : a superior/cheap dev kit that makes making PS2 games alot easier/cheaper/less production time and some higher profit for devs.
Keep em happy and they will stick with Sony.
( Don\'t do things like releasing a pricy hdd add on )
Now someone can make a hell of a Haiku rhyme outta this !  :thepimp:

Remember, a happy PS2 dev base = a happy PS2 user base.
If, I repeat IF, that truly happens a little Haiku may be
in place..... who knows ?
I\'m looking forward to the XBOX and NGC launches and
see how (my)PS2 will hold, or not.
BTW nice try Troglodyte, we will wait and see if your little
\'protest Haiku\' has it\'s desired effect !

What a great idea, Japanese poetry ^_^

I\'ve made up a couple of haikus myself, but it\'s more difficult for me in english. I tried to make some PS2 ones but they were all cheesy.

Heh, that haiku also will apply to the Gamecube and XBox when they both come out. Too bad I\'m not getting them. :(

Have a PS2?
No, because they all sold out...
Good.  Buy Nintendo.

Wanted to poke fun at PS2...  That\'s the best I could do off the top of my head.
