Ok I\'m now on my 3RD copy of Crazy Taxi!
« on: July 07, 2001, 07:17:26 AM »
All 3 suffer the same problems, skipping music and when u use the mirror mode cheat on the original track it sometimes displays the \'disc may be dirty or scratched\' message.

This all happens very rarely but enough to be annoying.

It\'s not my PS2 as everthing else has worked fine on it. I only have one other game DOA2 but have rented half a dozen and all have worked fine.

Any else ever noticed any skipping music or anything in Crazy Taxi for the PS2??

Thanks.

Just been checking all the review on this game and alot of people seem to think it has problems. Oh well. If it was a PC game I wouldn\'t think twice if I found a bug.

Anyone have this game?

Have u tryed the \'mirror mode\' cheat on the original track, just press R then hold R when u select your character.

Hey, I just got the game on my DC and so far it\'s awesome.. if a bit shallow. How well does the PS2 version stack up against the original? Should I recommend it to my cousin who\'s got a PS2?

Few people on this board have problems too.

Yeah, something is wrong with that game. lol. I drive like near the beach part then all of a sudden the whole course turns into blue water. Then I drive off in the other direction and it turns back to regular.. haha..

i would really think that the game has problems. i mean if you\'ve went through 3 copies of the game and you keep getting the same problem it\'s gotta be. and since you\'ve played tons of other games on the ps2 without any problems

Yeah, I\'m not bothered by it as long as it\'s not just me, know what I mean?

The music track that sometimes skips is the song in the intro, which never skips in the intro, weird.

The \'disk may be dirty\' message ONLY pos up when u use the cheat on the original track, I have never seen it without the mirror mode cheat.

Great game though.

Also has the \'Limit Cut\' move been removed from the ps2 version, I cannot for the life of me get it to work, it\'s not in the manual but some sites say it\'s R+D+Accel at the same time.

Is it a cheat that you got in the game or one you got in a mag? If it\'s one out of a mag that means that it\'s a hidden code for a reason and they don\'t support it. If it has bugs in an unadvertised feature you can\'t really complain.

It was a cheat from cough*ign*cough as long as all the standard modes work I\'m not bothered, the music does skip occaisionally though.
