Well I don\'t know exactly how the BBA is going to work for the PS2, but if its anything similar to a standard NIC card than no, simply getting a hub will probebly NOT work, the reason is this... Each NIC card, broadband adapter, whatever you want to call it, has its own unique MAC address, no two are alike. When you hook up your PC and your PS2 to the hub, and then the HUB to your modem, the modem will SEE both devices, and if you only have 1 IP address registered through your ISP and both devices try to access the internet at the same time, you\'ll get an IP conflict. When I first got my cable modem I had two computers, I tried using a hub with a single IP address and it didn\'t work. However there is a way around this. You can setup your computer as a PROXY server by installing a 2nd NIC card and piggy backing your PS2 to that 2nd card. If you\'re running WIN2k, 98 2nd edition or ME, you can then setup "Internet Connection Sharing." If you\'re not running one of these OS\' you can get a program that will setup your computer as a proxy, one i\'m familiar with is called winproxy. What ends up happening is that your PS2 will use your PC as a gateway to the internet, and because there is only one NIC card connected directly to your cable modem, the modem will never SEE your PS2 and you can live happily ever after. The only down side is that your computer needs to be turn on at all times if you\'re planning to go online with the PS2.
Hope this information helps an not confuses.
Oh, and by the way, the other way around this is to get a 2nd IP address from your ISP
