Good point Coredweller!  Although, well, maybe I can\'t come up with an argument!  Well, I just don\'t like the fact that PS2 games could require the hard drive/internet access.  I\'m probably getting one, but I do wish PS2 already had it.

Yet I see no diference between my DVD Player and My PS2. I\'ve yet to own a widescreen tv though. And Im not that big of an Audio freak. I got soround sound and thats good enough for me.

I can understand that all-in-ones are stereotyped into being made poorer. But I believe that is just an easily jumped to stereotype. And to look at it at a more positive piont of view. Its the ease of instalation and use. Rather then install a dvd player,  reciever,  ect. ect. ect. So you  can look on it as they dont want to do research or they want ease of use.

I a hands-on person, so putting things together is fun for me.  The thing about all-in-ones, if one part malfunctions, the whole thing has to be sent in to be fixed.  Whereas if one part of a multi-part system malfunctions, you can make-do with what you have until you get back the part you need.

Agreed you can use the other things. But isn\'t it just another thing to buy? Either way you must repair something or buy something. I\'d rather the thing I repair be cheaper then the thing I buy.
