The corporation is headquartered in LA County, and they do business here.  They own property and assets which benefit that business.  It doesn\'t matter where the assets are physically located; they should be subject to taxation under California law just like anything else.  I don\'t see what\'s so wrong with this.  I\'m absolutely sick of huge corporations getting a free ride and blowing off the local governments that make their huge profits possible.  They need to pay a fair amount due under the property tax laws just like every other corporation engaged in earth-based businesses.  If they don\'t like it, let them move their headquarters to an orbital space platform.  I\'d be fine with that.
