Squaresoft and Sony sure do know how to throw a party...

Usually, Shingoku and I post our impressions of Metreon specific events in this forum, but since we now work for PSEra.com, we\'re forced to link you to those articles instead.  Here\'s a small snippit along with a complete link for your reading pleasure.  Enjoy our brief impressions of FFX as well as what makes living in the Bay Area super cool. ;)

Moving along from the entrance, no more then 15 paces later, we were greeted by more FFX goodness being displayed on the large 60" Sony projection television. Projection TV\'s are nowhere near as clear as Sony Trinitron Televisions, but this is a moot point as soon as we turned around and saw a battle taking place just a few feet above our heads on the Sony screen displays. What\'s this? Someone is playing the FFX demo, which was present at this year\'s E3? That\'s right, one loyal Squaresoft employee took the time out to actually demonstrate quite a few different aspects of the new Final Fantasy, which should be gracing our beautiful black box in the US at the beginning of next year. Lulu, Yuna, and Tidus were present on one side while a horde of monsters faced them down on the other, but much to my surprise, the entire crowd cheered at the site of Lulu\'s Moogle completely laying waste to the rubbish that laid before them. It was definitely a welcome site to all the Square lovers in attendance.

I was there too Ryu..I was a bit dissapointed that FFX wasn\'t playable..however I did get to watch a worker there show off the demo.  It was packed...I couldn\'t belive how crowded it got.  I didn\'t win any tickets from the raffle but I stuck around and watched the auction.  I couldn\'t belive these two posters sold for 200 dollars a piece.  Hardcore fans they were.  All in all it was pretty cool..I hope next time they figure out a way to provide more space..and I got to buy GT3 one day before its initial release..so its all good ^_^.
