FFT re-release
« Reply #15 on: July 25, 2001, 12:17:19 PM »
FFT is the best game.  I got it for 20$$$ and let me tell all of you its worth every penny.  It is my favorite game.  It is at least a 40 hour game, plus it also has the secret holly stone hidden.  I also have some tips.  Watch out for Ninjas because they can have two wepons and can throw stuff at u.  Use your main character whoever it is. (the one that u get to name)  One of the best combos of moves is to get the two swors.  It costs 900 points so save up.  Then change the job class back to knight and u can have twice the attack power.  Like someone also said Auto potion is great.  But it uses the least powerful potion u have so only buy X potions.  Also for those people that like powerful Ninjas use the equip armor.  Also there is a way to get Cloud from FF7.  But for all of his attacks u will need his Material blade.  It is found on the Lava battle map at the highest point.  Also some people have great equipment, so u will need a someone who can steal, also that person should be femail.  Well have fun, and thunder god Cid rocks.
Its better to be the god of death then the hero of a massacre.

I played FFT (borrowed from my friend long time ago).

It was very addicting.  Good music.  Oh, the main male character started out a squire or something like that.  I still remember a special move from this lady (forgot the name) that do Stasis Sword and said something like this "life is short, bury...stasis sword."

And you can actually uses chocobo in your battle to.  They\'re playable and you can actually ride on them too.  I think there are like red, blue and yellow chocobos or something like that.

I love the job system and too bad there are only 15 spots you take playable characters even though you can make your enemies as your playable characters too making it over 150 + characters.

This is the list of my best rpg of all time:

1st)  FF 7
2nd) Xenogears
3rd)  FF Tactics.
playstation 2 rules.  Nintendo Starcube Dolphin drools.  Hehehahahheheheh...

From thegia:

[07.18.01] ยป With odious green spine in tow.

Despite reports from a handful of sites denying our earlier story, Final Fantasy Tactics is indeed headed for Sony\'s Greatest Hits line of games and now has a firm release date and price. Videogame retailer GameStop has verified that the Greatest Hits version to this PlayStation classic should reach store shelves on July 31st for a meager price of $24.99.

In addition, a rerelease of Prima\'s Official Strategy Guide to Final Fantasy Tactics will be available.

Thanks to Brad Williams for the release date tip.
