got chat?

Hey guys,

A friend of mine who often posts here informed me that your site has no chat room and I was wondering who here would use a chat room from this site if there was one?

The reason I ask is because I run a growing irc network with a gaming audience forming most of the users and we\'d like to increase the number of ps2 fan\'s visiting and at the same time offer you guys a place to chat.  I setup a demo at the link below so you can check it out and voice your opinion\'s here.

The chat is IRC based so it will be possible to use irc client\'s to get there.

There\'s some nice feature\'s and the ideal chat environment.  Hope you like it.

**note** The room may be a little emptier then would be normally due to people just visiting from the message board and not officially on the site... but you figured that out already right?

I talked to some people from here in AIM not too long ago, and they seemed interested in a chatroom being added. So, here\'s an opportunity, I guess.

I frequent this network and I must say most of the people there are pretty cool. Anyway, hopefully this works out and stuff.

I miss the good\'ol chat.

I\'m not sure I\'m up for chatting, it breaks my code of prudence.

Plus, I can\'t work on my post count there!

We used to have a chat room but the company that was providing it went out of buisness or something. I miss the old chat.
It would be great if you could get us one. :D

There\'s currently 3 chat server\'s on the network so we\'re pretty stable and there\'s a choice of servers to connect to at all times.

The channel #PSX2Central has been set up on there for the demo java.  Should the site want to adopt the room the webmaster or person who\'d be responsible can take ownership of the room.

I put a services bot in there which provide\'s some useful features when the room is in use and the like .

I\'ve made this a sticky... people, please try and use the chat room once in a while, if you\'d like to chat a bit with other regulars here. That way there might always be someone in there when you join. I\'ll try and be there often!
