im sorry of the frustration of waiting, and waiting, and waiting for yer treasured gamecube has gotten to you while ive been playing A+ games for the last 8 months.

The thing is said to be the most comfortable Game Controller of all time. The NGC is so unatractive? You were just looking at the purple one. Listen, Wait till you see it in black or silver, and as small as it can be. It will be one very sexay console:D And as for the controller goes, the different colored buttons are there so that you can remember them easier. Don\'t get me wrong though, I love Sony, I am using a Sony Trinitron Monitor right now, and my main TV is made by Sony, I just don\'t care for their consoles.

Uh, when I play a game, I look at the tv, not the buttons.  The color just makes it tacky.  Play one game on any console that uses all the buttons for thirty minutes and you should have them down pact.  I\'m fine with READING letters.  I\'m not a 4 year old that depends on color-coded everything.

I personally think the multi-colored buttons are tacky.  I like it when the controller is more mono-tone.  It looks more refined and elegant that way.  It make it looks like something worthy of a 20 yr. old\'s time, instead of looking like a preschool toy.

I\'ll probably buy a gc, just not at launch.  When I have dinner guests over thought I\'m gonna have to stick gc in a drawer.  Don\'t want them thinking I have a toddler running around.  I can keep my PS2 out next to the tube, it complement\'s my decore.

When they see a PS2: "Oh, he plays video games"

When they see a gc: "Oh, I didn\'t know he had children!"

Life is more than video games, and the games are not the sole factor in buying a game system.

PLEASE! Drop the kiddy issues! The point I am saying is that you could have a game up there.. OK take Madden 2001 if it would have been cubed. You press a button and it shows you which recievers are open and which button to press to pass, now with the NGC, it could color code and have like a blue A and a red B. If it did that, you would see the red or blue faster then have time to read the letters, resulting in a quicker pass.

One of the main reason Nintendo has a kiddy image, is because whenever they make a game for kids, and it sells really well, (hench Pokemon) Nintendo gets a kiddy image because they can make great games that sell to kids, while making other games for everyone.

I wasn\'t saying anything about the GAMES being kiddie, I said the CONTROLLER looked like a colorful, plastic, teething toy.

And it does!

I\'m not changing the world by saying I think the controller looks childish.

I, personally, would rather have a controller without all the vibrantly colored buttons.  

And just to let you know, to R/G colorblind people, a letter reference showing up on the screen, as opposed to a color reference, will register more quickly.  Just as voiced communication can\'t ignore the hard of hearing, the visual communication can\'t ignore the visually impaired.

I wasn\'t directing the kiddy issure at you, I was sending it to everyone:D Ahh yes, the R/G colorblind issue. That could always be turned off possibly. And Don\'t tell me I don\'t know colorblindness. My dad is Red-Green colorblind. He can\'t see the Donkey Kong track in Mario Kart 64(its the only game he plays).
