Another freakin\' Dance game

For cryin\' out loud!  Does the US actually need another dance game?  And to top it off, stuff Disney into the game?

WTF?????

From thegia:

[07.23.01] ยป Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix confirmed for North America; more pads and games on the way.

Konami of America discussed its plans for the Dance Dance Revolution series in a recent press release. The North American version of the rhythm game has proved more popular than the company expected, having quickly become hard to find. As a result, Konami will produce more game units and dance pad controllers.

In addition, the company officially announced Dance Dance Revolution: Disney\'s Rave for North American release, as previously suggested by an EBgames.com listing. To be titled Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix in North America, the game features electronica remixes of classic Disney songs and new Disney-themed graphics. Disney Mix will ship on September 18th at a suggested retail price of $39.99 US; the original Dance Dance Revolution is not required to play it.

A special dance pad controller featuring Disney characters was also released in Japan to go along with the Disney game; Konami is considering releasing this peripheral in North America but has not yet finalized any plans.

Look for full coverage of DDR Disney Mix soon.

Uh, no thank you!

I dont know about Japan, but the in the US, we have an over-weight problem, so if we can get some games that require physical movment, that would help, kinda like Tai Bow

No thanks, i prefer to be lazy when im playing PS2. The rest of my day is so busy i would prefer not to have to get up and dance for a game unless its with Anna Kournikova or something along those lines.
You have 2 play 2 win!!!! And if thats not right, why is there no gameshark to use on my taxes????

obviously someone isnt too keen on DDR..for me, i love the new DDR that is coming out, it shows that Konami is interested in releasing BeMani games in the states instead of just overseas..if Konami sees that the DDR series are selling, hey you might see more in the future, which i would LOVE to see
