See you all in a week.... ~My vision needs me!!~

Not now but Sunday..... See what I\'m gonna be doing is trying to stay away from computers and TV\'s for a whole week and do nothing but sit outside and look in the distance..

The reason why, you ask?

Because my vision is getting worse from looking at this damn computer I\'m near-sighted and my eyes love to look at things up close now....... I can barely read little text on the TV when I sit 15 feet away:surprised ........

So I have a theory, (sp?) That if my eyes got bad in the first place from looking at computer screens up close, I gotta do the opposite to get my best vision back..... So I\'m gonna look at the tree\'s in the distance and look at stuff far away, all day, everyday, all week.

So you guys should be happy that you won\'t see me in a week....
Keep this thread going..... that way I don\'t have to search for it when I get back (Next Sunday)

Usually vision problems are caused by permanent misfigurations in the eye balls shape, do u have glasses? If not think about getting those instead of wasting your time staring off into space...... hmmmm i do a lot of that anyway.

I don\'t know if you can do it.  You always play PS2, watch tv, and get on the computer what\'cha going to do all that time?

I doubt it will work.  If it would then my eye doctor would have told me to do that, and I wouldn\'t need glasses!  The only way to fix the eye itself is Laser surgery.  

If for some reason it does work, it\'s because the problem was eye strain.  And that can be fixed easily by takinga ten-minute break every hour of computer use, (or reading, tv, and the what-not.)  Eye strain shouldn\'t cause permanent change.  If it does then you need to see an eye doctor.

I probably should....... just that my eyes seem to work perfect some days, then when I get on the computer the next day my eyes are bad bad bad...... and I\'ve been on the computer everyday... so my eyes aren\'t getting better. Oh well....... This is the last day!

Dude you can\'t just focus on things far off in the distance, you can\'t control your eyes like that. Sure you can look at stuff far away for a while, but to do it all day, sounds kind of foolish. I guess you meant that you won\'t be doing any reading or anything, and I misunderstood. Perhaps you should try taking vitamins, which can improve vision, not sitting at the computer as long, and adding some light to your room while you are on the computer.

it\'s more like having fun outside..... I should take vitamins though. See the reason I really wanna do this, is to prove my mom wrong...... "Mom my eyes are getting worse." "Don\'t look at that computer then your eyes will be better." <<<<< Although I don\'t believe her I\'m still gonna see if she\'s right..... you guys will all know next sunday.... trust me.
