The first ever screenshots of a new PlayStation2 racing game from Rage.

We do not know much about this game aside from the fact that it is developed by Rage and will be hitting the PlayStaton2 this Christmas. From these screenshots things are looking good, let us just hope the gameplay is good enough to stand up against the mighty Gran Turismo 3 and the very impressive looking World Rally Championship.

Hopefully we will find out more about this game at ECTS, which is just under a month away.

Global Touring Challenge Africa (GTC) is a true \'next-generation\' driving title for the PS2. It exploits the potential of the PS2 to recreate the scale and beauty of Africa and pitch you into some of the most competitive circuit racing ever.

Race performance cars including Ford, Subaru, Renault, Pontiac and Mitsubishi through the streets of Cape Town, across Libyan deserts and the misty jungle of the Congo.

GTC is scheduled for release in November 2001.

So the game in its early stage looks nice. We hope it´s a good gameplay; in this games, more important than graphics is the gamplay, at least for me.

Looks almost like an expansion disc to GT3. These games aren\'t typically my bag, but this one looks interesting.

the car models dont look quite as good as GT3 but the backgrounds are amazing!:surprised

And i dont agree with ps2gamer_59, he cars are very well done! You think not cuz the landscapes are simply eyecandy!

This looks like a very impressive game. If it looks better than GT3 (when it\'s done), I\'ll be wetting myself. Hopefully the movies will look better.

I wouldn\'t say all Rage\'s games are total crap but I agree that the gameplay is often very shallow when it comes to their games...
At least they always make visually stunning games

this game looks terrrrrrific.

looks fun but calling it "aaa" at this point is nothing but premature....a little more restraint next time?
