Reading books is good. I mostly read magazines and stuff. I just got done reading the Lord of the Rings series...er...the first one anyway. I started to read Hannibal before the movie came out, but the book kind of sucked, and the movie was infinitely worse. That stupid cannibal brain s**t wasn\'t even in the book.

The two latest books I have been reading were SSN and Rainbow 6, both my Tom Clancy.  I just finished Steven Spielburg\'s biography (snore) and the last good book I read was The Return by William Shatner.  That has to be the best Star Trek book around.

I like to read quite a lot. I love Sci-Fi, the plethora of new Star Wars titles keep me busy, I love the newest books that have introduced the Yhuzhan Vong - bad guys who make the new Jedi order look as dangerous as a bunch of giggling 5 year old girls.

However recently I\'ve \'discovered Robert Crais - he\'s an excellent author (IMO) of detective novels - the first Crais book I read, LA Requiem, is one of the best novels I\'ve ever had the pleasure of reading. Recently I\'ve read Crais\' Sunset Express, Stalking the Angel (those two and LA Requiem are Elvis Cole novels, Cole being the hilarious fictional detective that Crais created), and Demolition Angel. If you\'re into mysteries/detective stories I wholeheartedly recomend LA Requiem or any of Crais\' other titles. Crais used to write for Hill Street Blues, and his newest novel, Hostage, has been bought by Paramount (I think) to be adapted for a movie staring Bruce Willis.

I also love the various X-Men and Spiderman novels (the Time\'s Arrow Trilogy rocks), and of course I love Michael Crichton.

I\'m currently reading Voodoo River (an Elvis Cole novel) by Robert Crais.

a reading topic? Strange, never seen one of those on here before :)

I read tons. Right now I am working on Michael Chricton\'s  Timeline (so far EXCELLENT)

Orson Scott Card is one of my favorites.

If someone can name me this book, they will get my 1989 original gameboy!!

The story goes something like this:

A great virus or sickness goes across the world, killing nearly everyone. A young boy is all alone after his family dies out. He does find a girl that lives, and for a short while, he takes her along, until she get\'s sick and dies, too. Later, he meets up with another kid who has been spending his time taking the riches from people\'s houses and driving in a rolls royce.

That is about all I can remember!

please help me!! I read it in like 4 - 8 grade, somewhere in there! I want to read it again, desperately!

I read Dean Koontz and Patricia Cornwell, though I don\'t like them much. My dad reads them and gives them to me when he is done. They are mindless entertainment, so I read them. Cornwell\'s books usually take place near where I live, so I guess it\'s cool to read about the area.

The only thing I\'ve read in years are the TV Guide and game manuels.
But I used to read.
Lord of the Rings and anything by R.A.Salvator are my favourties
He\'s the guy that wrote the Icewind Dale and Dark Elf Triolgys
One minus two = negative fun

I just remembered some more books I\'ve read:

Ender\'s Game - Orson Scott Card
Cujo, The Shining - S. King
?? - Michael Crichton (I can\'t remember the title - it was from like 1969 and about a virus)
Anna Karienka (sp?) - Leo Tolstoy
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAPETIME!
(thanks Chizzy!)

My high school during the summer, like all schools, make my class read during the summer. I don\'t like to read too much but if a book grabs me, I like to read them. I read, well so far, Fallen Angels, Death Be Not Proud. My favorite book so far is probably The Lost World. It was the only book that I read that kept me off my PS2. ;)
