Tekken 4\'s release date is...

August 15th in the US.  Finally, we will get to play it.  The units are being shipped on the 12th, and should be at all arcades that preordered it by the 15th.  

The Tekken 4 shipping date is set for the 12th of this month. Depending on where you arcade is located and whether they will get it directly from Namco or an arcade wholesale company, you can expect to play Tekken 4 around the 15th, give or take a few days.

Unless your arcade owner had dropped the ball of course and failed to pre order a unit in time to be on the first shipment. We have it on good authority the first few Tekken 4 Jamma board shipments were already spoken for weeks ago.

Kudos go out to namcoman for persuading the powers that be in speeding up the US time release schedule (or delaying the Japanese schedule if you prefer) by 2 weeks. Roughly the time difference between the Japanese and US release. This means our time release will be synchronized with the Japanese machine (give or take a few days depending on when the machine goes online at your arcade) and we won\'t have to wait the extra two weeks, nor will the surprise of the next character be spoiled for us American players.

Then of course, there is people like, moi, who lives in hell and won\'t get to play it until it comes home to the PS2, because my arcade hasn\'t received a new game since Tekken 3. Not to mention, I would need to drive to another state and then probably would still have problems finding it.

I\'m sure you could find an arcade around you that will have it.  Call the arcades around you and see if they are getting it.

You won\'t believe how many arcades there are near where I live. Within a 2 hour radius there is only 2 arcades. Both of which are extremely out-dated. The arcades in Lousiville, KY (the \'big city\' for KY) are also out-dated. If anyone knows of one in KY that is decent, please let me know. I would love to find one, because the since the decline of arcades, they are almost extinct here. True arcade games have been replaced to those damn luck games, where you put a token in and try to grab a monkey or whatever.

You forgot a couple options:

"Tekken, what\'s Tekken, there are four of them now?"

and

and

"Who cares about Tekken 4, I\'m waiting for Tekken 5!"

and

"I never play arcades, when does it come to PS2?"

If you added in these options my vote would be for the "equality" one.

I didn\'t understand one word you just said...but it\'s okay...

Yeah arcade days are dead.....I still have not played vf4 yet...as for tekken4..Unless they done something completely new with the game I could careless...
