How Fast Can You Type??

Just curious. I had this computer class at school where I started at 10-12 words per minute. After a month...I got to 80 words per minute!! I haven\'t been able to go any slower or faster after that. I\'m still trying though.

I can type fairly fast for my age(15). Though I have to look down at the key-board most of the time....maybe around 30-45 per minute. Not quite sure...I\'m taking typing classes this fall so that number should improve. :)

You WILL improve. But when you practice, make sure not to look at the keys...;)

Last I checked I was over a hundred, but I make so many darn corrections that it brings me down a bit.  If I didn\'t care like most people on this board I could probably type 450 words per minute.  I though like my posts to at least be legible to somewhat literate people.

I do the captioning for my TV show though so that has gotten my typing speed up a bit.  I can\'t keep up with them though.  They speak way too fast.

I got around 65 words per minute last time I did a good measurment of WPM.. I\'ve probably increased in speed since that time, though.

At least 90% of your typing isn\'t grammatical errors to the point of unreadability and misspelled words like some of our other members...

I am gonna be the first one to admit that my typing totally sucks.. I can only type fast when I am pissed off about something and that is without more than like 2 mistakes.  Other than that I don\'t know the number I think last year when I was in keyboarding I did like 42 or something :( I know it\'s sad ^_^

Last time I checked, it was 75 wpm.  I have no need and no desire to type faster than that. :)
