As everyone knows the great magazine, GameFan went out of business quite awhile back.  They was in my opinion the only magazine for the \'hardcore\'. They wasn\'t afraid to give over-hyped games a bad review. They had the "graveyard" section and even a nice Anime section.

Well, from the Editor of GameFan and ex-staff members of GameFan is ....

I don\'t ever do this guys , but if you have a remote interest in gaming magazines sign up for GameGo! and help support them.

Mods: I didn\'t know if this would go in the Main Forum or Off-Topic. If I got it wrong, just move it and I apologize.

Living-In-Clip, I didn\'t know that gamefan went out of business. I use to buy there magazines.  They had the nices screens shots of games.   It\'s cool to find out that someone at Gamefan went out and made his own game magazine.  :D

hehe the spelling of business,  I can\'t spell good too.  What happen to the SPELL CHECK in the fourm.  I need it.  ;)

Hmm, to be honest, I liked the \'old-school\' Gamefan better. Like the first 1-3 years of it. The new ones weren\'t bad, but ECM was anal as hell and some reviews were based on short time with the game. For example, one of the reviewers who reviewed FFIX, mentioned he didn\'t get past Disc 1, how can you judge the entire game then? --

Example of ECM\'s reviews:

Well I hate simulations, and this game isn\'t a shooter or in 2D. So it\'s overrated and not worth your time. 41%

I was a big fan of GameFan. I had a subscription that never showed up, or was a month or two late.  I even renewed right before they went under. I liked the mag so much that when my subscription copy was late I would go to EB to pick up a copy.

I still have bad feelings about the whole thing!

Sorry I feel like venting.
