Which on is going to have better games at launch? Xbox or GC?

its allopinion which console will have better games at launch, so its not right to compare them.  i probably wont get either because ps2 has the games for me, and thats why i got it.


but right now the only problem is that it is in boston.

But once again nintendo doesn\'t have a "true" fighting game and rpg.  I mean SBM is alright and all but I wouldn\'t put it up against nothing like tekken 4, vf4, or doa3.  Cause all three of those fighters are serious and not to mention they all destory SBM graphics.  But the bottom line is I think xbox is going to have more varity than gamecube.:thepimp: :thepimp:

Vivi sees the truth, the GC will humilate the XBox, then the XBox will give the PS2 a run for its money, and the GC will sell well, and all consoles will tie in the console wars.

its all about opinion...personally i could care less about any xbox launch title so far...DOA3 is the only one that caught my attention,  but i wouldnt buy the xbox for it...ill wait until games like jetset radio future, or other sega games come out for it...not just sega but some other 3rd party games...

as for the gamecube,  i was highly anticipating wave race till i found out it was running at 30fps and i heard the boring porn music (this is pathetic already)...
i lost interest in luigis mansion (so far,  it seems that all you do is suck up ghosts)..i thought luigi was gonna be more like a mario game in a haunted ghost house....
star fox adventure i like...and rogue leader looks incredible...i hope it runs at a solid 60 fps though...
but i dont see myself getting one until i see nintendo making less kiddie style games and actually taking advantage of the systems power...im yet to see zelda and metroid..id also like to see 3rd party work there also....then ill prolly get it...
besides,  come launch time ill have MGS2, hopefully Shen Mue 2,  and DMC just a few weeks before.....

lestat, Wave Race still runs pretty fast at 30 FPS.  It doesn\'t hamper it at all.

30fps still sucks for a next generation system.  Unless the graphics are unmatched, but waveracer doesn\'t even look that good.:alien: :alien:

Xbox just doesn\'t have that stand out launch game that will sell systems. IMO, GCN has a few; but that is my opinion.

So my vote goes to GCN having the better launch lineup. But me being the tool that I am I will buy both of them at launch. *OH WHY DO I HAVE TO BE A GAMING ADDICT?!?!?!*

Personally I prefer the GC lineup. I\'m for sure getting a GC @ launch, and I\'m still skeptical about X-Box. I know I will eventually get an X-box (thanks to SEGA), but I doubt it will be @ launch. Nintendo\'s games are more appealing to me.

No joke. I\'m taking the first 2 weeks of November off. The first week to enjoy the GC, and the next because of MGS2 and my bday. Gonna be a good 2 weeks.

I love the nintendo franchises and that\'s enough reason for me to favor gamecube over xbox (at least for now). Oh yeah...there\'s this game called Rogue Leader......lets see....damn...so hard for me to decide......uuuumm I think yes the gamecube will be joining my ps2 this fall.  :cool:


Again, however, it really boils down to what games people like and whether they will be found on the xbox launch list or the gamecube launch list. For me I just don\'t see anything on that xbox launch list that makes me go, "oooooh, aaaaah, I need this game. I need an xbox." The way I see it I\'ll probably end up getting an xbox sometime in 2002.

Gamecube games look fun..... but Xbox just has the games that make you go :surprised and are more "mature".... and I love "mature" games! I do!:D
