So most of you saw my thread about my 2000 Honda Civic being mauled by an 18-wheeler.

Anyway the good news is I just today picked up my new...
2002 Subaru Impreza WRX

It\'s very nice.  I\'ve got some pics that I will try to scan in for you guys later.

I wish I could afford a nice new car, but sadly I\'ll be driving used beaters for a few more years most likely. I want to many other things then another car payment

No this ride was not free, but I did get my Civic paid off and a nice down payment on the WRX from my insurance company.

dd, you are right it\'s 227 hp stock.  No, I\'m not screwing with the engine since I bought an extended warranty and that would void it.

The color is WR Pearl Blue, the same base paint they use on the rally car.

i tried to tell my insurance agent off, you know since i messed up my 2001 civic also, but she wouldn\'t bite, she said just because they had to replace 1/4 of the back of the car, does not mean i should get a brand new ride. :rolleyes: if i did get the money back for the civic i would have bought a prelude. ! :bounce:

The intake nostril on the hood is genuine and leads straight to the Intercooler.  ##Racer##, I have to keep the revs down for the first 1000 miles but then you are on!

thats a really nice car. i may get one for my first car when im in college, but i really dont know. subaru\'s are very fun to drive, and man, i only wish i had one...
