i heard sony was gonna lower the price soon, does anyone know if this is true?

sony recently lowered the price in Japan by about 13%, but i dont know about a US price cut.

in the uk there has already been a price drop, but there should be one when the x-box comes out

I would expect a price drop at around the time X-box and Game Cube launch.
