REAL wrestling
« on: August 14, 2001, 11:06:34 AM »
I started wrestling this year and OMG, there is no doubt in my mind it is the toughest school sport. Just on the first day I had to run 5 laps arouns the track, carry my friend(30 lbs. more than me!) on my back up a 45* hill 4 times in 100* weather, and have one hour of constant weight lifting.

Am I gonna be buff. ;)

thats nothing compared to football. 9:30 untill 4:45. we get there jog a mile, strecth, stance and starts, ABC\'s, team time, stations, conditioning, then 11 on 11. then lunch then we lift for bout hour, another jog, hit the sled, strecthing, conditioning, team time then 11 on 11 and then the first string of O- linemen do 35 updowns. our coach tells us that it makes us tougher.

Its hard work. But its worth it.
The schools that they send us to are prisons
The same can be said for their churches too

Thats when everything is OK

When I did crew it was awfly hard. We got there and stretched than ran 2 miles came back lifted weights the sprinted then ran perimiters and then if possible we went out on the boat and rowed for a while which is a hell of a lot harder then it looks.

I don\'t think the first day can compare to a full day. From everyone that I know in sports tell me wrestling pushes you more than the others. People were throwing up ON THE FIRST DAY.

I\'ve seen the same thing at the first football practices. Its usually only the new kids.

I have seen some runners before and it\'s amazing that people can run that much.  I am too fat to be in Cross Country.

Anyways today I ran 1 1/2 miles, had my friend on my back thing 5 times, then ran across the football field 4 times with him on my back, then sprinted up and down the hill for 5 minutes, and made us weight train outside. 1/2 the freshmens/fish quit already. wimps
