New Mortal Kombat 5 pics!!!!!!!

This game looks awesome its sweet to see quan chi, scorpion, and jax back so far.  Looking good.........real good.

This is for PS2?  Looks good...

I stopped playing Mortal Kombat after part III.  Hopefully this one will give me reason enough to go back.

Its coming to ps2, xbox, and I think gamecube.  So all the console are getting it.  :thepimp:

LOOKS  decent considering it is a Mk game.. I still have th bad blood of mk3, mk4, ultra mk, mk triglogy and mkgold in system. So I am not that impressed...

I hope everyone knows that these are pre-rendered.  But, hopefully they can get the game to look this good. :cool:

I am one of the few that is actually excited for another Mortal Kombat game.  It has been way too long since a new MK game came out.  I wish they would show some gameplay pics instead of the concept art.

I hate when people post pre-rendered concept art and try to pass them off as gamepley. Why don\'t you just mention that it\'s concept art? :rolleyes:

Did anyone say this was gameplay?

The subject poster made it seem that way fortunatly i already knew they were nothing but mere renders. I am expecting nothing to good from this game

The MK developers know they made some mistakes in the past.  They are calling this game just Mortal Kombat instead of MK5 because it\'s like a new beginning; a fresh start.  They haven\'t said too much about the gameplay, but the things they have said sound very cool.  The characters are going to show damage on their bodies with ripped clothes and bruises.  They said weapons will have a bigger role in this game.  And they also said that they know this game has to be flawless to win back the MK audience.  I think this game will bring new life to the MK series, but only time will tell.

i lost my love for MK when i played part 3....
then i played 4 and it didnt feel like MK anymore....
i never liked the idea of weapons for these characters and maybe its because i felt as if the weapons they chose werent unique or appealing as,   lets say, soul caliber...

and this game was about blood and gore...part 1 had a dark theme and then part 2 took it to another level...if they can keep the mood that those first 2 created, then ill take interest in part 5 again...i like the idea or bruises and ripped clothes....

and i hope they keep the classic fighters....i know my favorite,  scorpion,  is in there,  but id like the whole cast from the 1st two sequels....

and how bout some original fatalities instead of the lame ones part 3 had.... ?

Cool.  I hope MK5 doesn\'t play like DOA2.  And if they look like that I can only imagine what the blood and gore is like.
