Actually no. This forum is left open for gaming news. As long as its not in debate form in belongs here. He only siad Soul Caliber on Gamecube. Thats not a debate and definatly not an invite for trouble.

Well in all honesty I personally believe the diehard regulars can post other game news here, the only problem is that usually invites XBox and Nintendo fans over to put in there 2cents and next thing ya know ya have a debate followed by name calling

Soul Caliber is a big franchise that will benefit by being on mulitple machines. This news shouldn\'t surprise anyone

But isn\'t that why we have you Double D? To keep the piece. This is harmless though.

I\'m very interested in this though. I loved the first on the DC. Alot of action.

Sorry, hadn\'t been on here in a while and forgot about console debate.

Anyway, I just thought it was interesting that alot of people were surprised as I thought enough hints were dropped towards this.  I don\'t play or enjoy fighting games though so it really doesn\'t mean anything to me.

I\'m hesitant to say SC2 will end up on PS2 though because it seems like they may be trying to separate it and Tekken from each other as to not have them compete.  Then again, if the arcade version is using the PS2 arcade system then I dunno, you\'d think Sony would have made some kind of stipulation for that if they knew of the GC release of the game.

ahh ok, thanx. I love this game, and I wanna play it almost more than MGS2 or FFX.

The IGNcube story doesn\'t mention exclusivity for the NGC, then again, it also doesn\'t exclude the possibility.  The article is mainly saying, "Hey, we know this is going to be announced at Spaceworld," so who knows what else will be announced then.  I wouldn\'t imagine it would be using Sony hardware in the arcade and at least not be on the PS2 at some point -- then again Soul Calibur used Sony hardware in the arcade too.
