Silent Hill 2 movies. . .

Playing the latest rev of Silent Hill 2 gave me a strange feeling last night. It wasn\'t the standard scary, ready-to-be-shocked kind of feeling that normally comes from games such as Resident Evil, and it wasn\'t the strange sense of creepiness that comes from watching a film, such as The Shining. Instead, after playing a few hours of Silent Hill 2, I felt a sense of dread, a heavy, almost burdensome weight on my shoulder, like I was carrying several people on my shoulders up a steep, foggy hill. Silent Hill 2 creates a sensation of dread unlike any other game I\'ve ever played, and it\'s both a good thing, and a frightful thing, too.

wow, this game looks freaky, in a good way

from seeing those it looks like the camera is very active at times and the angles are very good, almost like someone else is controlling them for u.  dont u think that would be cool, your friend of someone would be able to controll the camera for u with a second controller so its kinda like a co-op mode? i think that would be cool.

I went to IGN and looked at these movies..... As you all know.... My computer is slow so I could only look pretty much pictures.... But they were still nice.... I\'m really excited about this one!:D

About the camera, I heard (from IGN I think) that sometimes the camera will run around you like it\'s looking through a monsters eyes.  It\'s like in a scary movie when a guy is being hunted by a creature, the camera usually is through the creatures eyes to make it more dramatic.

It was actually from gamespot.

The camera seems to purposely lag behind during refocusing, bobbing up and down with movement and often giving the impression of being the view from a creature\'s perspective, which it often enough is. The fear caused by the constraining camera adds infinitesimally to the ambience Silent Hill 2 strives for.

I am just curious... I know that this game comes out on September 25th(ormaybe it\'s the 27th), but is that only in Japan?  Or is this game coming to America at the same time as it\'s released in Japan?  Anyone know?

That\'s some freaky s***... I getta get me this game...

I heard Resident Evil 4 is gonna be online. There might even be a headset you can wear to talk to the other players. Supposedly you can tell them to block the door and guard the windows, and move the tables and stuff. That\'s what I heard (so don\'t yell at me). Sounds pretty freaky. I guess we\'ll just have to wait and see. It should be 10 times better than Code Veronica X (stupid ports).
