Ok this might be old news (its from june) but i found t at IGN about the Zelda game correction Games for the Gamecube.

Sources say the title is much deeper into development than Nintendo is letting on.

At E3 2001 Nintendo previewed a brief demo of its GCN Zelda title running only on video -- the same footage, incidentally, that was previewed at Space World 2000. This led many industry watchers to believe that the title was not progressing as steadily as had been hoped.
However, sources close to the company tell IGNcube that quite the opposite is true -- that the Zelda is, in fact, much further along in its development cycle than anybody expects. The fact that Nintendo chose not to preview more of the game at E3 was not a result of it being early on. Rather, the company is holding it back for a splash at Space World, say insiders.
Designer Shigeru Miyamoto seemed to second reports from those close to the firm at E3. In response to when gamers would finally see Zelda GCN in action, Miyamoto said only: "Please wait until the August Space World. Then we\'ll show you something."
The behind-the-scenes news points more and more to a major showing at Nintendo\'s Tokyo, Japan show.
