WM Player isn\'t really good for anything...:rolleyes: It is such a cra*** program. I only use it for WM Player-only files...it can\'t even stream that well...

Uhm, that video that was posted from IGN is the first trailer, the one from LAST year\'s E3. And as you can see by the filename it\'s not in quicktime format (.mov), it\'s in MPEG format...

This trailer is a long one. It shows a lot of gameplay and movies scenes from, and not from, the demo. The newest one (not posted in this thread) only shows the beginning sequence to the MGS2 demo.

Also...JP is right. It\'s an MPEG, the same format that both QuickTime and WM Player can play...so I don\'t know where that started.

IT is a large movie...and that can be hard on a lot of slow computers...sorry...:-/

But for some reason I check .qt on WM Player and it still won\'t play any movies from IGN that are in quicktime format..... Something is not right..... Maybe my WM Player needs to be updated....:confused:

you can\'t play quicktime movies, movies with .mov extension,  in WMP, at least it doesn\'t work for me and I\'ve never heard of anyone who it has worked for.
You need the quicktime movie player, which can be found on http://www.apple.com.
Quicktime is actually a Macintosh format so I guess that\'s why WMP can\'t play it.
