...and I am laughing all the way to the bank.

My local arcade just had a massive videogame comp. sponsered and run by Twin Galaxies. There was a SF3:3, C vs. SNK, MvC2 fighting tourneys. High score tourneys (Arctic Thunder, Ms. Pacman, Air Trix, Police 911, and DDR USA), and a freestlye comp. (DDR 4th mix.)

Well, I showed up too late to join the SF3:3 tournye, which I wouldn\'t have won anyway, but I still entered the High score tourney. Well, it turns out that I have some great skills, enough for me to win the Arctic Thunder comp and the Air Trix comp.

for Arctic Thunder, it was who could finish the Swiss Alps stage the fastest. I had only played the game like twice before and I stepped up and got a 1:41.94, faster than anyone else that tried the whole day by 7 seconds!

For Air Trix, it was who could get the most coins on Stage B. Well, I got 450 coins my second try (I play ALOT) and the closest guy that came to me got 307!

I walked away with 100 bucks in cash (50 for each 1st place) 400 Tokens (200 for each 1st place), 2 Twin Galaxies comp. shirts (1 for each), and 2 of the Twin Galaxies Record books (1 for each 1st place). Also, since I won the comps, my name is going in their all-time record books and will be in their next book!

Plus, I will get my picture on Family Fun Center\'s website and Twin Galaxies website, when they upload them. So you goons can finally get a good look at my videogame lovin mugshot :)

EDIT - oh yeah, I got two certificates for my first place finishes! They are currently getting framed, if I ever get hold of a scaner, you guys will see them :)

Congrats Altered Beast!  I can\'t remember all the tournies I\'ve particpated in but I do remember the first won I\'ve won.  It feels REAL good, especially when you know there is skill in the other players.  Also let\'s you know that this talent you have isn\'t a total waste. :)  What do you plan to do with that $100?

but i got my name in agame.....

in the original lma manger if you look in the manual, look at all the screens, one of them shows the b4 match screen, with weather, team names, refree name etc..look at the refs name its r.pennock...thats my name.

also for you who play championship manger look at a team called gillingham, there is a adrian pennock...though its not me, its apparently my cousin or something but ive never met him....my dad said he did once when he was real young but not in a very long time

fukc nows..maybe they heard of my great game playing skills....i know its just a coincidence but its not like my surname is common, maybe when i sent my bit of paper back from other codemasters games they said that sounds cool

cool, maybe I should start registering my Dreamcast, Saturn, Genny games, as I still have the registration cards :)
