Memory card question....
« on: August 19, 2001, 06:14:11 PM »
Just wondering if someone could help me out here....

I\'m playing GT3 and suddenly, I get an error saying "Loading failed" (obviously, when I try and load the game)!  It takes me 15 minutes to get over the fact that I\'ve lost all my cars and money and then start again.  I save the game and all seems "normal".  However, when I try and load again, it says "Loading failed.  File is corrupt".  Again, I\'m devastated.

However, I CANNOT delete this corrupt file.  And GT3 won\'t let me write a new file on the memory card!  Therefore, I can\'t save another game on GT3 and I\'m dying!  Just wondering if someone could tell me how to delete this file or "format" my memory card.
I\'m using a legit Magicgate 8Mb memory card.

Someone please help!  I\'M MISSING MY EVO VII!!! :(

I same thing happened to me in my import GT3, when I was useing my import memory card. Are you sure your not useing a import memory card, because the early ones seem to have bugs in them, and unfortunatly there is no way to delete it on your own. After a while the memory card does it on it\'s own and asks you if you will like to format the card then it will erase it but there\'s no way to get your old data back. Other than that there is no cure, sorry. I suggest you buy a new card if you want to save GT 3 again. :(

Damn.....I thought that in buying the Magicgate card, it would rid me of these errors.  Oh well....can\'t do much can I?  How about this?   If I was to get one of my friend\'s memory cards with a GT3 save on it and copied it across to my memory card.....what would actually happen?  Do you think the system would actually allow it to be copied across to create a new save on my memory card?!
