This part sound cool
"New reports have surfaced about new technology created for the new Metal Gear PS2 game. Hideo Kojima and his team are working on a secret new feature which will somehow determine the type of person that is playing the game. It is supposed to be able to determine the player\'s age, sex, hobbies, etc. Once the game has determined these things it will adjust the level of violence, blood, etc. to match each player. It will not, however, just ask outright. Rather it will go about finding this info out by they way players act and answer certain questions at the beginning of gameplay."
I wonder how Kojima will do it .......Sucka:)
Man.. if BookerT lit a fart during a Spinner-oony.. it truely would be the most electrifying move ever..

First of all...

DO NOT STEAL TEH BOOKAMAN\'S CATCH PHRASES, SUCKA.

Second...this new technology will be...

Asking the player how old he is at the start of the game. How revolutionary.

Jumpman did you read it?It said the game will not ask you, it will try to figure it out by the way you play the game.

I know, I was joking in my last post. But this part may contridict that statement.

Certain questions like what?

It\'s nothing revolionary. It will probably just be based around skill.

Ok, let me try this.  Sucker.  Oh, wait, hold on.  Suckuh.  Oh man, this is hard.  Sucka.  SUCKA!  Oh yeah, I got it. :)

Well SUCKA, they will probably do something less obvious than asking for your age.  Maybe depending on how many people you kill at the start, that determines your age or something.  That\'s just my oppinion SUCKA. :)

I\'m 17 anyway...so the rating can\'t effect me. I played that demo pretty voilently myself...so I think it\'ll let me play it the gory way. Whatever. I still don\'t know how it will determine everything about me, unless there\'s a hidden laser that shoots out of the PS2 and reads your mind, and gives you cancer...;)

This is actually pretty old news... it has been known that Kojima\'s team of guys have been working on something like this since the before even the first trailor of the game was shown at E32000.

I personally think that it\'ll be a waste of time to write such a program.  Just because it\'ll most likely be a series of questions that they ask before the game even starts, in fact that is how it was previously stated by Kojima oh so long ago as to how it would work.  And if it\'s a series of questions that try to determine your age, or level of maturity then that\'ll be easily cracked by just repeated tries in answering the questions or some place on the internet explaining how to do it.

As for it determining your age through the way you play... I don\'t think this will work either.  Just because there are so many different styles of playing that people have.  The possibilities are almost limitless.  Of course it could go for things people do in a similiar manner then I could see how a program like that could half way work, but still not completely.  I mean, there\'s going to be a lot of 25 yr old guys out there pissed off at Konami because the game thought they played like 15 year olds and toned down the blood.  Do you kind of get what I am saying?

Well, I am kind of anxious to see how this program really will work, and how effective and accurate it will be, but for now I am still betting that this program will be a waste of time in the development area of the game.  I think it\'d be better if they just had an adult lock-out password, similiar to what they had in DukeNukem3d.  Just better encrypted of course :D

I think the idea itself is good though......

im dissapointed....
things always suck in amerika..didnt i just mention that in a previous post?

im sure kojima will come up with an intelligent way of finding out what type of player is playing the game...and if he uses questions,  then im sure they wont be vague ones....but just knowing the fact that what i considered to be the most \'serious\' game ever,  is being \'censored\' pisses me off....this aint nintendo...this is konami on the ps2....wtf?????

oh well....i only played the demo once because i didnt wanna ruin the magik of the game by over playing it like i did with the first installment....but f that now...time to abuse the hell out of the guards and slit their throats....just in case they replace the blood with...\'sweat.\'

If you want blood...just find someway to answer the questions with as much disturbed violence as possible...
