favorite videogame moment

I saw this topic on another forum and thought it would be nice to hear what you guys thought.For me I have a few,the cutscene in the first resident evil where the zombie turns to look at you,I\'m trying to run before the cutscene is even over .Or in the downstairs hallway when the dogs jump thru the window(still the only time i\'ve ever jumped while playing a video game)But probably my favorite was that christmas morning when me and my brothers opened up that package that had an Atari in it.Long time ago but still great memories

buddy.....ill never forget that scene in RES EVIL when those damned dogs jumped through the window....
i jumped and yelled like never before in a videogame....
glad to hear that i wasnt the only one....funny..that scene when the zombie looks at you,  right before it cuts,  im already running away too....hilarious... =)

That day when I finaly got to the end of Pitfall.
That ending was awesome!!!!;)

Zelda:Ocarina Of Time- The whole game was just an unsurpassed experience for me. When Shiek reveiled that he was Zelda then Ganondorf took her away, when Ganon entered the Sacred Realm, escaping from Ganon\'s castle, finally getting to the boss in the Water Temple, and many many more. Lots of favs from that game.

But my all time favorite videogame moment would have to be when I got the invincibility cheat in Goldeneye. Anyone who\'s played that game knows what I\'m talking about.

Honorable mentions- In Super Mario World when you first entered that "Special place". In Chrono Trigger when Frog sees his friends ghosts(dammit what was his name again? The guy that Magus killed), playing Mario 64 for the first time, and many more that I\'m too lay to name.

• Watching the Final Fantasy VIII intro movie for the first time.
  
  
• Performing my first "stealth kill" in Tenchu.
  
  
• In Medal of Honor, when I threw a grenade into a group of enemies, and one of them threw his body over the grenade to protect the others.  I still laugh when I think about that one...
  
  
• The introduction to the Metal Gear Solid 2 demo.
  
  
• The day I paid off my pre-order for Metal Gear Solid 2.
  
  
• (*SPOILER*) The part in Suikoden when Gremio was revived.
  
  
• In Suikoden II, when you fight along side Jowy against Gorudo.
  

oh yeah...well how bout the first time we played Star Fox??
first real 3d game for a console...wasnt that an incredible feeling..despite the framerate,  blockiness, and texture free polygons...(not like we were old enough to acknowledge those things back then anyway....)
that was a great feeling...gave us a taste for things to come....
just listening to the soundtrack of that game brings back good feelings....

The ending of Final Fantasy VIII.

When i first opened MGS for christmas.
When i beat FF8. I loved the ending video.
When i first watched the MGS2 intro.
when i beat vagrant story. That was an awsome game. any body else pla it?

From last year the long MGS2 movie, that got my jaw to drop, i was like "wow, this is what the PS2 can do? Awsome!"
Playing MK and doing fatalities There a million and one of them, but i\'m not gonna put em all here .

Liquid Snake apart the satellite just as your about to cross and then scaling down the walls as Liquid Snake shoots at you from the helicopter.  Oh so nicely crafted

This scence from Halflife:

Dropping into that pit where the 3-tentacled monster who can only hear rips a poor scientist apart.  That was one of the few times a game made me say "Hoooooooly Sh*t" out loud.

I have to say that mine comes from RE1 as well, but it\'s not any of those others.  It is when you leave the place where you fought that giant plant and then head back to the mansion.  Once your inside the mansion it cuts to a cg cinema of a monsters perspective running towards the mansion.  Through the video it is quite obvious how fast and agile this new creature is.  So, the video ends just as this creature opens the door behind you that you just entered.  The creature is the mutated green frog creature, but i tell you a totally freaked out when that happened and I must say that it\'s my most memorable gaming experience.

Although 2nd place would definitely have to go to the whole game of Xenogears.  Boy was that game a masterpiece!!  I should say a flawed masterpiece, thanks to the budget cuts.  But truly the greatest story ever to make its way into the videogame world.  It was fun too

**Final Fantasy 7 Spoillre**

even though just about every good gamer should have played it, just incase some people havent, i put the poiler warning up

Aeris\' death scene...and the final battle, one on one wih sephiroth (sure, you are destined to win, but it was just such a personal rivalry)

There are alot of great videogame moments heres a few of mine:
In RE2 when your running down the hallway and then all of a sudden there\'s zombie arms crashing through the window and grabbing you. That was great.
FF7 had a heep of great moments in it that I\'ll always remember, The FF8 ending was just perfect.
First stealth kill in Tenchu.
First time I came up against the Butcher in Diablo Open the door to his lair, feeling overconfident, then running away when hes kicking your ass
Thats some of mine and there are a lot more. These are the moments when you relise why you like games so much.
