**** i imported the dc version of recvx a few months ago just cuz I cant play ps2 imports n I wanted to see the extra footage stuff being a hardcore Res evil fan.  now that was a waste of money since I expected a few more extras, n never got the wesker\'s report dvd.

but I gotta watch wesker\'s report online anyways n I\'ll be renting the us version of recvx for the new demo sometime.

Note to anybody trying to play Code Veronica after the DMC demo, don\'t play DMC first, ... you won\'t be thrilled with Code Veronica   it looks dated... :(  the game control makes me want to puke after what i experienced with DMC. Just my opinion, a lot of people enjoy RE games, i do not...

if anyone liked playing the MGS2 demo, then they will love DMC. ;)
God i wish DMC would come out already,

This game is kick-Azz!!!!

I still liked RE:CVX after playing DMC,and your right it did look dated in the graphic department but it\'s still a cool game.

You wont\' be disappointed ! :D
this game is so freaking cool,
i\'m playing this game since this morning, and i can\'t let it sit for more the 30 minutes before i get the urge to play. Capcom is gonna make a killing on this game, unless they make is very short... ;) then i might have something to get p!ssed over with... ;)  This is a game i waited for for a long time...  it reminds me of 2D Castlevania... only in 3D  ;)

I\'m planning to get this game sometime this week (given that this week is almost over, probably means, I will get it tomorrow). :) Can\'t want to pop this baby into my...my brother\'s PS2 (the demo, and the game).
Opinions are not important.

It is decent.  The graphics are outstanding but the gameplay isn\'t to great. It is rather mindless. You can do different combo\'s and upgrade your weapon, but from what I played via the Demo it was way to simple and easy. Hopefully they will take the difficulty up quite abit, because as it is anyone with twitch skills will be able to beat it. The missions also need to be longer - or I hope they are longer. Some of the camera angles have massive issues. The list goes on and on.

Decent demo. I am not quite was excited as I was, before I played the demo.  I\'ll still buy the game because it was fun, just not breath taking. That and I\'m a Capcom Whore.

RE:CV X is ..Well, not DC quality - I\'m sorry, but it isn\'t. The textures are alittle weaker, in my opinion. Not a lot, but anyone who has played thru the DC version two or three times will notice small things like that. The extra 10 mintues of footage explains some plotholes, like who attacked the Umbrella base, but overall, unless you are a RE fanatic like me, you won\'t want to play through it again just for those 10 mintues of footage . If you have never played RE:CV though, then this is the perfect time to do so.

The Weskers DVD was nothing spectacular either. If you are a RE fan, then you will want it. Otherwise, you can skip it, unless you have never played any of the prequels and want to know how they looked / played / ended. That is all the Weskers DVD serves to do.

Decent package overall, but nothing special.

I had no plains on getting RE:CV X on ps2 because it did not looks as if it would be even close to dc standards and  your review confirms my decion.

As for DMC..Everything you said about it makes me think it will staty just like it is. Because it will be a simple game that any casual person that plays games can pick up and play. I hope I am wrong but from what you say it seems like it will stay the same.

From what I have read on other boards the actual full version of DMC is quite different. You don\'t get orbs just for killing enemies over and over. You must prefer stylish combo\'s and so on. The difficulty is ramped up. The missions are longer. There is tons of secerts and so on. Apparently the demo is just to impress people and give them a quick hack and slash until October.

After checking all the information out on the recently released import, I in no way based my expectations of the full game on the demo.

By the way - how many red orbs has everyone got in the demo? I\'ve got 500 and got tired of doin\' it.

Where are you getting this information?  I\'ve been looking everywhere for info on the full version, but I can\'t find anything.

BTW, I\'ve only got around 400 before I wanted to pass it and start over from the beginning again. :)  Now I usually buy lots of continues and stuff so I can try lots of cool combos without worrying about dying.
