Great point, but I don\'t care.  I personally will not get the game but I can\'t dismiss the fact that it is the most important game on the Xbox.  It is a testament to its power, and a great showcase title.....very similar to Shenmue for DC.

The game is great for braggin rights.....

Metal Gear Solid X - gonna be great
Silent Hill X - same as 2, PS2 gets it first
Tony Hawk 3 - "
Odd World - true, but I never liked them
Panzer Dragoon - gonna be great
Jet Set Future - not interested
Gun Valkrie - we don\'t know anything of the gameplay
Soul Caliber 2 - every console
Project Ego - AWESOME
Halo - PC port, which PC has the online part too
Unreal Championship - too freaking tired of Unreal
Final Fantasy Online - every console
Madden 2001 - every console
NFL2K2 - every console
NBA2K2 - every console
NBA live 2001 - every console
SSX 2 - every console
Medal of Honor 2 - every console
DOA3 - if its like DOA2 in gameplay, it\'ll be crushed by other fighters
Dino Crisis 3- gonna be great

about half of the list goes to another console as well. But other than that, the others titles look AA-AAA exclusives. There just aren\'t enough good games IMO right now.

Looks great, but is it running in high resolution through a monitor or on a 640x480 TV? I think its safe to say the screens are from a monitor. They are not in-game either. They look like those intro things you get in Tekken when you see your character showing off.

Kinda wierd that the most anticipated game is only half way better than most other fighters out there.  Makes ya wonder what ELSE the XB is coming out with.  I know I hear about a billion things about DOA3, graphics wise, but only hear about Project Ego gameplay wise.  Kinda makes me think of the PS2 launch all over again.  I\'ve been waiting for the PS2 to start releasing a slew of killer aps and I\'m still waiting.  Here\'s to the Fall Holiday Season, may it bring us treasures beyond our wildest dreams.

I couldn\'t have said it better myself.  Am I alone on this one or does DOA3 look like a game that deserves more viewing then it does actual playing?  After watching the videos of the game in motion, it looks as if it plays like DOA2, why XB boys drool over that is beyond me.

People are drooling because it\'s some of the best graphics a game has ever had.  But, they don\'t even take the time to think about how fun the game will actually be. :cool:

Yeah.  I don\'t think anyone will argue that I\'m the biggest DOA2 fan on this board and I just don\'t see any difference to make me want to go grab an X-box, even if it is $1200 + Microsoft tax or whatever the hell it\'s up to now.
